Raven's Favorites
When
you cruise, you quickly develop your own list of favorites. Favorites
anchorages, favorite towns, favorite people, and even favorite cruising

Here are a few of our favorite things . . .

Favorite Cruising Friends
(Click on each photo to see it full size)
Kris
& Kim Slack and Craig & Sandy Kalemjian from West Chester, Pennsylvania
enjoying the cruising life with us in Glacier Bay
Bjarne
& Lise Elowsson depart for home from Greenway Sound, B.C. after a week
cruising aboard Raven. We met the Elowssons in New Zealand while chartering a
sailboat there in 1997.
Patty
Ecklebe, a close friend from Tacoma, operates the beauty salon on Raven's
foredeck while we're anchored near Ketchikan.
Without Marvelous Mark Lindeman, Raven would never have been able to leave the dock.
He's our expert rigger, electronics technician, mechanic, and good friend. Mark
loves to fly into exotic places with sun and palm trees to help us fix things.
Bob
& Leslie of North Road are from Vancouver, B.C. and did both the Baja
Ha-Ha 2000 and the Baja Bash with us. The photo gives an idea of how serious
they are about cruising.
Ken & Cath of Felicity were on Baja Ha-Ha 200 with us, too, and
they introduced us to Zihuatanejo, our favorite Mexican town. They are blazing
the trail across the Pacific for us, and you can catch up with them at their own
S/V Felicity website
Stef & Marilyn of Circe are
friends from Tacoma who showed us the path to cruising joy and urged us on.
They've cruised Mexico for several years and showed us the ropes.
Many more to come . . .
